The O’s bats have seemed to come alive again, as last night, the O’s scored six runs, and Brian Roberts is back to his normal self. Also, Matt Wieters went yard. The Seattle Mariners’, the underdogs, (42-39) 3rd in AL West, lineup is,

Tonight sees Brad Bergesen, (5-2 3.53) vs. Jarrod Washburn (4-6 3.36). Last time out Bergesen went eight strong giving up one earned but the bullpen gave up the lead, causing Bergesen to get a No Decision. Washburn’s last outing saw him pitch seven innings and only give up four to the Bronx Bombers, but the Mariners couldn’t help him out by scoring two runs.

Bird Droppings

  • Walk Plagued: The O’s walked a season worst eight batters on Sunday in which four came around to eventually score.
  • Baltimore we love you!: The O’s have lost six of their last seven away games and have a 12-26 record on the road this year.
  • Four runs enough?: The O’s have lost back to back games in which they were leading 4-0 in both of them.
  • Can someone get a hose for Matt Wieters?: Wieters is blazing as last night he took a walk, singled two times and hit a solo HR.
